    Program Description:
As health care and benefit costs continue to rise, employers are rethinking how to design, fund, and communicate benefit programs that balance fiscal responsibility with employee well-being. Join experts from The Alliance and M3 Insurance—along with a few Wisconsin employers—for an interactive panel discussion exploring 2026 benefit trends, data-driven strategies, and real-world applications in today’s competitive talent environment.

This session will highlight what’s changing in the benefits landscape, including emerging self-funding models, reference-based pricing, compliance updates, and innovative approaches to engaging employees in their own health and wellness. Local employer panelists will share firsthand experiences implementing new benefit strategies—what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what they’re planning next.

Whether you manage benefits directly or advise leadership on strategy, this session will offer actionable insights and tools to guide your 2026 benefits planning.

    Learning Objectives:

After this session, participants will be able to:

    1. Identify major benefit trends for 2026, including shifts in health plan funding models, cost-management tools, and compliance considerations.

    1. Evaluate the advantages and risks of self-funded and alternative network models (such as those used by The Alliance) for organizations of varying sizes.

    1. Apply data-driven and employee-centric strategies shared by M3 Insurance and employer panelists to enhance benefit plan design and employee engagement.

    1. Develop practical next steps for reviewing and benchmarking their organization’s 2026 benefits strategy against market and peer insights.

    1. Collaborate with brokers, consultants, and provider networks to align benefits with overall HR and organizational goals.
